me, flicking lights on and off: why would rhys immediately go find vaughn or any survivors after the crash!!

rhys, immediately post crash: 

• missing an arm, eye & port, all three were forcibly torn from his body and were GIANT HOLES IN HIS BODY and probably were basically open wounds??
• [LOUDLY IMPLIED PTSD]
• forced isolation
• (part of me also wonders if somewhat voluntary isolation as like, punishing himself in a way for killing so many people but ymmv)
• STRANDED ON MURDER PLANET
• actually a beanpole with no means to defend himself on MURDER PLANET

what was he gonna do even after he made new prosthetics, since again: murder planet. he went down to pandora initially armed with a loader bot on call and a stun baton that was, while OP af, only useful for close range. not useful when nearly everyone on the planet is armed to the teeth with guns

also tbh we don’t know how long it’s been since the crash, or how long it took rhys to rebuild his prosthetics and when that was relative to the beginning of ep1

ntm like… what is with…. people and wanting to make vaughn out to be some kinda wilting flower and ~submissive and like he needs to be protected/saved…………….. is it just bc he’s short. vaughn’s just as cunning and ruthless as rhys & yvette, just with a different mindset/goals (ex. he was less interested in power for himself but still wished to benefit from it)

for real what was rhys supposed to do, and why is it a bad thing that vaughn alone found himself on pandora and came out from rhys’ shadow as a self-confident bandit
